As we move into the second half of March, looking forward to April and a burst of spring, we also have something else that will burst this April as four £1,000,000 Lotto prizes are to expire next month if not claimed very soon! Changes to the Lotto rules may be throwing UK players off kilter a little, as all four prizes are Lotto Raffle Tier 1 prizes and if they aren’t claimed soon, each life-changing prize will be lost to the winner forever.

Lottery winners in the UK have 180 days to claim prizes, so almost six months but despite a long time passing, these prizes haven’t been claimed. The first three prizes are all from the same draw on 10th October 2015 and will expire on 7th April, just a couple of weeks ago. These three prizes are all worth £1,000,000, so life changing amounts, and are all from the Lotto Raffle draw in the UK. If you bought tickets for that draw it may be worth rechecking them, especially if you buy tickets in the Tameside, Huntingdonshire, or Leeds area where the tickets were sold.

The fourth £1,000,000 ticket was sold in the Durham area, and that was a ticket in the 31st October draw on Halloween. That prize will expire on 28th April so the winner has a little longer, but the search is on and time is ticking.

It’s really important whether you play the Lotto or EuroMillions in the UK that you remember each has its own raffle draw, separate to the main draw, and even if you’re not lucky enough to win the jackpot, you could well have still won a life-changing raffle prize. Check the results carefully on all parts of the draw, or buy tickets online for ease of checking afterwards.
